EXEDY – Racing Hyper Single Series Clutch

Description

The EXEDY Racing Hyper Single Series clutch (ref. FH02SD1) is engineered for moderately modified vehicles that do not require a multi-plate clutch. The purple anodized forged aluminum cover is stiffer than a stamped cover, allowing a higher lever ratio for reasonable pedal effort with no clamp load deflection. Turbine-like air flow vanes in the pressure plate keep the clutch cooler under extreme conditions. Includes a chromoly steel flywheel lighter than OEM, delivering approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch. SFI 1.1 certified. For use with Hyper Accessory Kit FJAK100.

Normally supplied with a 6-puck cerametallic disc (high friction coefficient, heat-resistant T5001 material, smaller damper disc for lower inertia and faster shifts). On select vehicles, the VF (Various Friction) disc is offered: easy half-engagement via Ultra Fiber friction material, high heat dissipation, and greatly reduced pedal effort via redesigned cushioning plates. All torque ratings are measured at the wheels.
