ACT – HD-M/Race Sprung 6 Pad Clutch Kit

Description

The SB9-HDG6 kit features ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate and a 6-pad spring-centered race disc. Heavy Duty pressure plates use an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage heat-treating process. The 6-pad spring-centered disc properly damps torsional vibrations and resists failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers use wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to reduce stress concentrations and increase reliability. This kit includes ACT's patented Monoloc, a one-piece direct replacement for the standard two-piece wedge collar in pull-type clutches, constructed of hardened chrome-moly steel. Designed for high-horsepower street or race use. Compatible with Saab 9-2X Aero and select Subaru manual transmission models.
