Hooker Headers – Exhaust Header

Description

Hooker Competition headers (SKU 4902-1HKR) are designed for Pontiac Firebird models with 5.7L and 6.6L engines. Made of durable 16-gauge mild steel tubing, they use a long transition collector to reduce back pressure and increase exhaust flow. The 5/16 in. machined flanges with welded O-ring seals ensure a perfect sealing surface. Mandrel-bent tubing maintains metal strength and provides consistent tube diameter at radii to maximize performance. Silver metallic ceramic coating provides superior thermal protection. Engine: Pontiac 350-400. All installation hardware included.

Note 1: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers will damage the coating and void all warranties. Header wraps can cause tube cracks/rust; Hooker does not recommend their use.

Note 2: Factory heads do not have bolt holes in end positions – holes must be drilled and tapped. Same warnings as Note 1.
