Description

The Hedman 69526 headers are mid-length exhaust headers with HTC polished silver ceramic-metallic coating, designed specifically for installing a Small Block Chevy 283-400 (Gen 1) engine into 2WD Chevy S10/Blazer, GMC S15/Jimmy, Sonoma and Oldsmobile Bravada trucks and SUVs. The HTC polished silver coating resists corrosion and withstands temperatures up to 1,400°F while reducing underhood temperatures. The mid-length design with 1-1/2 in. mild steel tubes and 2-1/2 in. ball and socket collector delivers significantly more low and mid-range power than factory cast manifolds with better ground clearance than long-tube headers. Compatible with power steering and automatic or manual (floor) transmissions. Use of Trans-Dapt engine swap mount kit #9906 is recommended. Handcrafted in the USA since 1954.
