Hedman 78038 HD ELITE long-tube headers in matte silver ceramic are designed for MOPAR B and E-Body cars powered by a Chrysler 361-440 B/RB engine. Made in the USA since 1954, these headers feature CNC mandrel-bent mild steel tubes, hand-welded for identical pairs. Heavy-duty ELITE construction with thick 3/8 in. flanges and 14-gauge primary tubes provides superior durability for high-performance engines that produce higher exhaust temperatures. The matte silver ceramic coating withstands up to 1,400°F, retains heat in the tubes for faster exhaust speeds, and reduces underhood temperatures. The gasketless ball and socket collector design allows greater exhaust system misalignment. Compatible with both manual and automatic transmissions (shift linkage modification may be required). Each set includes gaskets, flange bolts, collector bolts, reducers, and mounting hardware. Limited lifetime warranty; 5-year warranty on coating.
