Description

The Mishimoto performance charge air cooler manifold is designed for the BMW G8X M3, M4 2021+ and related models. The stock thermoplastic manifold with tube-and-fin core is notorious for failing at as little as 3 lbs over stock boost. The Mishimoto solution: a cast aluminum and TIG-welded manifold with a robust bar-and-plate core, rated to withstand boost pressures over 60 PSI without failure. The core is 33% larger than stock. The manifold flows an average of 14% better to each cylinder. The CFD-designed lower plenum features an internal diverter for even flow distribution to all cylinders. Intake air temps as low as 11° above ambient under heavy load. CNC-machined runners accept factory O-ring seals. Fiber gasket included for thermal insulation. (See Application Section)
