Description

The CSF Heat Exchanger (SKU 8154) significantly reduces intake air temperatures (IAT) for maximum performance, with faster heat soak recovery. On 2nd-gen B58 engines, the factory liquid-cooled charge air cooler can heat soak quickly with no ability to recover, spiking IATs and causing the ECU to cut power output or put the vehicle into limp mode. This unit is tested and proven by CSF's global network of R&D partners, including leading time attack teams, tuners, and turbo kit manufacturers. It improves airflow to the rest of the cooling system, lowering both engine coolant and engine oil temperatures. The 2-Row, 42mm ultra-high-performance core uses CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology with 6.5mm tall multi-louvered fins. Mounting brackets are CNC machined with OEM style quick-connect inlet/outlet fittings. Includes a Rock Guard and transmission oil cooler mounting kit, an industry exclusive. Drop-in installation, smooth satin finish.
