DESCRIPTION

The 24"x6.5"x3.5" aluminum core with cast-aluminum end-tanks is extremely efficient while creating as little restriction as possible. 2.5" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing carries pressurized air to and from the intercooler and feature formed ends to eliminate hose blow-off. Five-ply silicone couplers and stainless steel t-bolt clamps are used throughout to further ensure reliable, leak-free joins. The process to ensure perfect fitment of the COBB Gen2 MS3 FMIC kit was just as rigorous as ensuring its high performance. This kit fits with the stock crash-bar in place, retaining factory passenger safety. The kit bolts into place with no cutting of the front bumper cover and only simple and straightforward trimming of the front undertray is required. Custom brackets allow perfect fitment in the tight confines behind the front bumper cover. The appearance of the COBB Gen2 MS3 FMIC is second to none, once again due to attention to detail. The intercooler core is visually striking, positioned dead-center in the bumper-cover opening, featuring a silver coating and casted COBB logos in the end tanks. The intercooler piping is powdercoated in a wrinkle black and includes integrated brackets with the COBB "C" logo. The five-ply silicone couplers also bear the COBB logo and are available in blue or black to best match your existing engine bay modifications. The COBB Gen2 MS3 FMIC is supported with Accessport Off-The-Shelf maps for intercoolers and a variety of other power-producing modifications.
