Description

CTS Turbo offers the MK6 2.0T Direct Fit FMIC Kit, part number CTS-20T-MK6-DF, designed as a direct drop-in replacement for the OEM front mounted intercooler (FMIC) for VW and Audi 2.0T vehicles. Compatible with Audi A3 8P, Audi TT MK2, VW Golf GTI MK5/MK6, VW Jetta GLI MK6, VW CC MK1, and VW Passat B6. Installation requires no trimming or modification of the bumper. The OEM FMIC becomes limiting once boost is increased via ECU tuning; higher charged air temperatures cause boost cut and timing pull. The CTS high-efficiency bar and plate core reduces pressure drop, extends turbo life, and increases power output. Rated for 600HP+. Includes 4-ply silicone hoses, billet adapter, and stainless clamps. Cast aluminum end tanks with mounting points cast in. See Application Section for the complete compatibility list.
