What is MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo?

MAZDA FlashEdit is a performance reprogramming of your OEM computer, specifically designed for your Skyactiv-G 2.5 T with Dynamic Pressure Turbo engine.

MAZDA FlashEdit replaces the original conservative settings with more aggressive programming depending on the parts installed and the type of gasoline used.

According to pre-defined modifications (stage), MAZDA FlashEdit is the solution to obtain a gain of power without having recourse to a personalized tune.

Here's the different Stage1 offered (Stock or Air Intake)

• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1 87 (Average possible gain of 29hp)
• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1 91 (Average possible gain of 25hp)
• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1 94 (Average possible gain of 21hp)

Here's the different Stage1+ offered (Air Intake + Cat-Back)

• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1+ 87 (Average possible gain of 34hp)
• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1+ 91 (Average possible gain of 30hp)
• MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo Stage1+ 94 (Average possible gain of 25hp)

Note/explanations: Many people ask us why the gain decreases with the use of a higher octane rating. The answer is that Mazda already offers octane adjustment. Our programming that replaces the latter also adjusts to the octane rating used. If for example the octane rate is 94, the gain will be less because we are already starting with more power than in the case of using 87 for example. On the mechanical side, some components are quickly overtaken by the addition/increase of power, which poses a reliability risk. The long-term reliability of your vehicle is our primary goal so that's why MazdaEdit Turbo Tuning offers less gain if you start higher.

Here is a Dyno example that demonstrates the effectiveness of the MazdaEdit Turbo tune! More Torque longer and removal of HP loss at high RPM!

*Horsepower listed on the dyno sheet is the wheel horsepower of the vehicle.

How does it works?

Once the tune is purchased, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. Appointment slots are available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Once present at your appointment, we will install your new MAZDA FlashEdit programming in your original Mazda on-board computer. No physical modification will be made to the car and/or the computer. Only the software that controls the engine management will be reprogrammed.

This programming replaces the original conservative settings with a more aggressive programming according to a predefined Performance Stage and described above, which takes into account the installed parts and the type of gasoline used.

Installation time usually takes 1 to 2 hours.

Note: The license and installation fees for the new programming in your Mazda are included in the cost of the products. No purchase of equipment is necessary. Only an authorized reseller can install or modify a Mazda Flash Edit Turbo reprogramming.

Recommendations / Terms / Conditions

Since the mecanical parts will be sought to achieve greater performance and to maximize yield and results, GBP Performance recommends that regular maintenance be done before making an appointment for installation of the new MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo program. A clean and / or new air filter and spark plugs with less than 50 000km are recommended.

Having a single license, each MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo is not transferable and is non-refundable.

GBP Performance makes no warranty on MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo reprogramming products. GBP Performance can not be held responsible for any minor and / or major mechanical problem or breakage. MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo is a programming with settings more aggressive than original, the customer understands the associated risks. Under no circumstances will any of our tuners / fitter be held responsible for ANY damage to your engine or power train, during or after your vehicle has been "flashed" with a new MAZDA FlashEdit program. If your car is not mechanically A1 and after installing your MAZDA FlashEdit Turbo  reprogramming your car is not working well, no refunds can be made. In this case, OEM programming can be reinstalled at no additional cost. Under no circumstances will Seller (GBP Performance) be liable for any damages or expenses resulting from the use or sale of MAZDA FlashEdit Tuning tuning products.
