Description

Manley Platinum Series pistons (ref. 630005C-4) are machined from high-strength 2618 alloy. Lightweight yet robust, they are designed for long service life. The offset wrist pin design ensures quiet start-ups. All pistons include moly-coated skirts, premium chrome-moly wrist pins, round wire locks, and premium Total Seal steel top ring sets at no additional charge. Included ring set: ref. 46880-4. Specific to the Mazda MZR 2.3L DISI Turbo: 88mm bore (+0.5mm), 94mm stroke, 1.270" compression distance, -13.3cc dome volume, 42cc head volume, 9.5:1 compression ratio.

Recommended skirt clearance: .0030" measured 1.100" from the bottom of the oil ring groove.
