Thule - Pulse Alpine

Universal Pulse™ Alpine Roof Cargo Box (616100) by Thule®. Dimensions: 88.5" L x 25.5" W x 12.5" H, 11 cu. ft. This long and lean carrier is a great value. It's ideal for carrying snowsport equipment, while at the same time leaving room on your roof for carrying other accessories. The matte black, heavy-duty ABS plastic cargo box carries up to 11 cu. ft. or up to 110 lbs. of cargo. Installation takes only minutes with the Easy-Grip mounting system, and one key locks the box lid and locks the box to the carrier. The Alpine fits Thule rack systems, round bars and most factory racks.

  • Durable and Rugged ABS material is long-lasting and helps protects contents during transit.
  • Easy-Grip Mounting assembles in moments and easily attaches the box to the rack.
  • Single-side opening for safe, passenger side loading and unloading of items.
  • Oversized SecureLock™ is easy to grasp, even with gloves on, and ensures the box is closed securely and properly prior to driving.
  • All Thule cargo boxes are made in Franklin Park, Illinois.

When you're on a tight budget but need additional space to transport your gear, Thule has the solution for you with Pulse cargo boxes. These boxes come in a size to fit your needs, and deliver easy, safe, and secure transport of your gear to your destination. And unlike some bargain carriers, these cargo boxes have sleek aerodynamic styling, so they'll not only look good on your roof, the reduced drag and noise will help your fuel mileage and make your trips quieter and more pleasurable.

The Pulse series is offered in 3 sizes, so there's a capacity and length for every need. The XL is the largest box in the Pulse line, capable of carrying up to 16 cu. ft. of cargo. It fits 6-8 pairs of skis with a maximum length of 181cm, 4-6 snowboards, or gear for up to 4 passengers. The medium size carrier in the Force line is the Force L, with the capability to carry up to 14 cu. ft. of cargo, 3-4 snowboards with a maximum length of 155cm, or gear for up to 3 passengers. The shorter length of the Pulse L makes it perfect for smaller vehicles. The Alpine is the long and narrow box in the Pulse line, making it perfect for long/low profile gear, and for when you need space for additional gear on your roof rack. The Alpine can carry up to 11 cu. ft. of cargo, 5-6 pairs of skis with a maximum length of 210cm, 2-3 snowboards, or gear for up to 2 passengers.

No tools are required to install Pulse cargo boxes to Thule rack systems, round bars, and most factory racks. The Easy-Grip mounting hardware is easy to assemble and the cargo box can be installed to the load bars in minutes. Loading the box is easy via the passenger side opening lid. The 2 included straps can be used to tie your gear down in the box and prevent it from sliding around. Once all your gear is loaded, the included One-Key lock cylinder can be used to lock the lid and lock the box to the carrier. The SecureLock feature ensures that all gear is locked and the box is properly closed prior to driving, because the key can only be removed when the box lid is closed and locked.

Pulse cargo boxes come with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
