The EFR 6258 packs a major punch in small package supporting up to 450 HP! This is an advanced ball bearing turbocharger with Gamma-Ti turbine wheel technology which greatly improves spool-up. EFR turbos have the competitive advantage over other brands thanks to the lightweight turbine wheel material which cuts turbine inertia in half vs. Inconel. Gamma-Ti (aka Titanium Aluminide) is commonly used in aircraft turbine blades which adds strengths and weight reduction.

Since it requires less energy to accelerate the wheel, higher speeds can be reached sooner and as a result the on-engine boost response improves while the competition is reaching for the NOS button to catch up! The EFR 6258 is great for small engines (e.g. 1.0 to 2.0ltr three and four cylinder engines) that need quick spool up and up to 450 HP on tap! V6 engines can double that with twin turbos resulting in up to 880 HP! This turbo also is a top choice for Sport Compacts, tight engine bays, Jet Skis, Side-by-Sides, and other race engines that need boost without pesky lag!
